More Bike Riders

by admin on February 10, 2012

It’s been proven that there have been more bike riders on Market Street in California. In fact there are 7% more to give you a clearer picture as to how much more. Many people are using their bike as a form of transportation, and I fully support that decision. However ,we still have a long way to go to to get to our goal of having many more people use their bikes to get to work. I realize that for some it’s just not an option, but I feel like some people are just lazy. If only they realize how much gas and miles they can save on their car, if they just ride their bike to work.If someones work place is within biking distance, I strongly believe they should at least give it a chance the next time they commute.

Sweet Hubby

by admin on February 10, 2012

Thanks for the post from Rashad Townsend

My sweet husband recently went to http://www.tvbydirect.com/ to get me some additional channels, including the Do It Yourself Network. Ever since we bought this new house I’ve gotten really into crafting and things like that at home and I feel like I’m saving us a lot of money by doing some of the renovations myself. I know it’s silly but at the end of the day it’s a hobby and it’s one of the least expensive hobbies I could have so I don’t really feel bad about it. For example, I totally child our kitchen black splash all by myself and I put in a row of tulips in the front yard as well. I can’t believe some people would rather pay hundreds of dollars to have a professional do what they can do themselves but in my opinion it’s just pure laziness. I like learning new things and also improving my home so why would I not be into do-it-yourself projects? It just doesn’t make sense.
