Biking, Golf and the Color Yellow

by admin on December 18, 2011

A well-rounded athlete will engage in numerous sports throughout the year. When I’m not bike-riding, I enjoy a few other healthy pastimes. One of these is golf. When you get down to it, this sport is about three things: the golfer, the clubs and the golf balls. There are all kinds of golf balls out there, from a variety of brands. Each has its pros and cons, and most golfers will eventually gravitate to one they like the best. Of course there are premium golf balls out there, and not so high-end balls. The goal of course is to have one that flies well while meeting accepted standards in the industry. I could get into describing the inner core of these elusive objects, but that is something you might find on any pro website. Rather, I’d just like to talk about what makes me happy. From the name of this website, you can guess that I like yellow bikes. As yellow is my favorite color, you can probably guess that I like buying yellow golf balls. These are great, not just because they look cool but also because they have a practical purpose. For example, if you’ve ever golfed in the snow, you know how hard it is to spot a white golf ball. Well, these yellow ones stand out much more. So, if you decide to get into other sports besides biking, consider golf. And if you consider golf, start with a set of clubs and balls that make you happy, be they white, orange or yellow!
